Looking at your last few questions, you seem very concerned with putting people into categories. I'm sorry, but life isn't like that. We're all individuals, and we have different tastes, different experiences, different perspectives. Some gay men are body-conscious, some aren't, exactly the same as straight men, or women.

I honestly don't know. Although i can say for myself that i've become much more body conscious within the last year than i ever was before, probably because i'm interested for the first time in finding/maintaining a relationship.

I don't know about gay people but I'm one straight girl who's like obsessed with her body.

This is not through study, just personal experiences. But I have noticed a stronger association with the aesthetically pleasing from gay people.

My perception is that body consciousness happens more on a regional basis than a sexuality basis. You can really see it in the 40+ crowd. In the midwest, most older guys let themselves go. But, in places like SoCal, older guys tend to take better care of their bodies.

The answer is pretty obvious, isn't it? Most gays work out regularly, take care of themselves, do not walk around with butt crack showing, etc. I cannot say the same thing about many straights. Good luck

That may have been true in the past, but nowadays, it seems pretty much across the board. Men and women both want the perfect type bodies, regardless of their orientation.

just a pure observation. lesbian women are, i dont know about gay men...I am a man straight young and good looking, so I want the same, I want hot babes to have sex with me and you realise that I go out and try to find these babes, well surprise surprise 8 out of 10 hot babes i meet are lesby. 80 out of the 100 fat cows outhere are straight. well hope straight women got this into your had and get your *** in the gym
