Yes they will. and to bratinelle do you even know what youre saying? have you actually seen the Suns and the Mavs play this year? yeah not so great the Suns are 3-6 and the Mavs are 5-4. The Lakers are 7-3 so what now Bi@tch!?

they can reach playoffs but, i'm sorry, i'm afraid the Lakers aren't really likely to reach the western conference finals this year..there are just so many better teams in the west right now, just take the Spurs, Mavs, and the Suns...you actually don't have to go far to look for a better team than the Lakers, their neighboring Clippers is much of a competitor already. Phil and Kobe aren't enough to bring the Lakers to the Conference finals, they need the whole team.

Conference Finals, lose there. Sorry, I'm a Laker fan, and I would love your optimism, but I just can't hope that much. It would break me if I hoped for too high of a hope.

i think they will, they did well to get into the playoffs last season when everyone said they would'nt make it and they've gotten off to good start this season and seem to be improving. There definatly a team to watch in the playoffs
