i dont think it is "emo", as in what emo means in society. emos tend to be unhappy and in angst. and there are plenty of happy ballets. then again, there are depressing ballets. so i guess what im trying to say is that as a whole i dont think you can catergorize ballet as emo, but there are some ballets that are emo-like.

HA! No--hard core ballet students aren't exactly emo. They are driven.
What they mean, is that a person who is emo tends to express themselves in other ways. However, I've never seen an emo in ballet.

i don't think ballet is emo. emos like to use the arts to help express themselfs, i guess, but it doesn't mean that that art they do is emo

eww i think ballet dancing i like girly with all those tutus and sparkly costumes...i would never do ballet.i prefer listening and playing music..no prancing around with a wand, stuck in those ugly little shoes but hey those people can do whatever they want.
unless they could wear black makeup and black clothing then maybe but i dont think so.
