I always had a hard time sleeping during pregnancy. You are supposed to sleep on your left side to provide the baby with the best blood circulation. I found that sleeping with a pillow under my belly and one between my legs really helped- one of those body pillows. I also usually had to have one behind me as well so that I wouldn't roll over onto my back in the middle of the night.

Put on socks, rub some ointment on your leg, this is to prevent cramps. You may want to apply lotion on your belly too, this may help ease discomfort of the "stretching" feeling. Dont eat or drink too much nearing bed time. Have at least 3 to 4 soft pillows for your front, back and one just below your belly(if you are comfortable sleeping on your side). When on your back, place a pillow under your calves. Have the fan oscillate and not face you all the time.

I know during pregnancy sleeping position is a headache due the the growing of the baby inside you. But i heard is that sleeping on your side is good for your baby instead of lying flat on your back. Cos when lying on your back you put pressure on the baby inside you, making the baby difficult to move around.
Sleep side ways and put pillow between your legs and turn to the other side if you feel uncomfortable.

It is different for everyone. I preferred sleeping on my side with a body pillow in between my knees and supporting my belly. On nights I had horrible heartburn, I had to resort propping a bunch of pillows behind me and sleeping in a "sitting up" position.

I suggest sleeping on your side with a big, soft pillow squeezed between your legs. Don't know why, but oh how it helped me through all of my pregnancies and the lower back pain. Hope this helps. Congrats on the pregnancy!

Try to sleep on your side with a pillow under your tummy, or under the lower part of your back if you are leaning more that way. Also one between your knees helps too.

well i am 4 days past due and what helps me still ( has throughout) is sleeping on my side with a pillow in between my legs.
if you try that it may help u, sleeping on your left side takes pressure off your bladder and the pillow will help straighten your back a little while u sleep so u dont feel so uncomfortable..
good luck
