Well there is a new exhibit at the Norwegian National Zoo that shows, definitively, that Homosexuality is not just common in the Animal Kingdom, but is in fact PREVALENT in some species (for instance, some Giraffes have more homosexual contact than hetero) All that Bible "Noise" is hogwash and clearly untrue since it is disproven by impirical evidence. And Norway - Den of the Homosexual Mafia, so they would have you believe.

Here's the link for the Exhibit and another from Livescience that shows how WRONG the "Man and Woman is Natural, Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve" theory is - and by WRONG I mean, proof that NATURE is not as they say it is. And if they are wrong about one thing.....

"Be fruitful and multiply" is a funny phrase, really. If I recall correctly, humans are one of a few species who have sex for fun and entertainment as well as for reproductive reasons. But, I bet everytime you have sex it isn't to get pregnant, is it? So by saying that gay sex doesn't lead to reproduction, not all straight sex does, either. Oops.

As for is gay normal, yes. It is. It's kind of a trick question because in order for heterosexuality to even exist, there has to be something to pit it again, which in this case is homosexuality. Just as you can't have black without white, good without evil, or left-handed without right-handed, you can't have heterosexual without homosexual. Think about it, would you know what 'left' was if you didn't have/know 'right'? How would you define 'evil' if you didn't have 'good,' and vice versa. You just can't have heterosexuality without homosexuality...and vice versa. You also can't define 'normal' or 'abnormal' without the other. The folks who say that homosexuality is abnormal are also implying that heterosexuality is what the norm should be set against...but why? The truth of the matter is that in all the research I've done, I have yet to find any scientifically and logically based reason that homosexuality is abnormal or unnatural, or ever gross.

As for sexual attraction...no one really knows why people are attracted to what they are and why. It seems kind of innate as of yet. I suppose attraction could be reduced to mass socialization and social constructionism to an extent (for example, a popular body type or hair style or something could hypothetically be socially learned) but I what gender you are attracted to would be a bit of a stretch.

To answer you question, yes: It is absolutely normal to be gay. If it isn't, there certainly is not a compelling reason for it not to be. Which is another interesting point - why do so many people base their own beliefs and morals on an optional part of life: religion? Religion isn't inherent - it certainly helps people get through the day sometimes but it isn't a basic need as eating, sleeping, shelter, sex, and keeping warm are. Well, just a thought.

It is no more normal or abnormal to be homosexual than it is to be heterosexual from a biological point of view. It is human kind that has placed a significance on what they believe to be the abnormality of homosexuality. The only time homosexuality is abnormal is when you are heterosexual and for what ever reason you are trying to live a homosexual life and vice versa. And yes, there are people out there who, for reasons only they can explain, have tried this.

Normal, when talking about the human person, is a relative term. I am gay, I am sexually attracted to certain men, not all men and almost no women. That is my sexual normal. Normal will be different for everyone. It's all relative.

No it is not normal to be gay. It's got nothing to do with religion ,just obvious logic.Afterall when you are born you are born with everything you need to survive. No one teaches you how to breath ,call to your mum or suckle, these are all instincts as is the instinct to crawl then walk as you get a little older.By the same token we are also born with the instinct to procreate .No one teaches women/men are attractive or why ,you just know this by instinct, the same way we find people sexualy attractive as they reach there mid teens but not before as that would be abnormal So by finding people of the same gender as sexually attractive you are going against the normal flow of life.

However that is not to say people should be perscuted for being gay ,it should be ok to live as a homosexual in the 21st century without prejudice.

It is perfectly normal to be gay if you are gay. To be other-than-gay if you were born gay would be as abornmal as being born female and waking up one day only to find out that while you were sleeping, you turned in to a male.

It is not normal to be gay. And you cannot keep religion out of this answer. God made man and then he made woman to be a helpmate for man. To populate the earth. How can being gay do that??

Gay is the downfall of the world. bringing society to an end with its diseases and lack of morals, this has been proven decades ago with rats, if there are a few they live well and long, when they over multiply they become homo's, diseased and destroy themselves
