depends on what im doing/ if im cooking i usually do my own thing and hope for the best, if its putting stuff together then i usually follow the directions although i usually come out with extra pieces other than what im supposed to come out with

It depends. Usually I follow directions unless experience indicates otherwise. For recipes like chocolate chip cookies I make some changes from the directions, again based on experience with what works. One hint: For cake mixes, always use larger eggs than indicated to keep it from coming out too dry.

I'm a directions girl when it comes to packages! LOL, in other aspects, I add things.

if i THINK i know what I'm doing, i go with it til its finished and if it comes out wrong i take it apart and cuss at myself for not following the directions in the first place. but if i don't do it no one else will, I'm always the one putting things together at my house.
