Well if you have games like the Sims 2 or really big games like that on it. Then it's likely that you haven't got enough ram (virtual memory) I suggest that you find a computer shop and buy a new
ram chip
You can get a decent one for around £75 $100

Kinda strange, and without more details, I can't really judge, but I'd suggest installing manually
Not as daunting as it sounds, what I mean is instead of using the menu, go:
My Computer-->Right click on the CD drive, click Explore-->find a file called 'Setup', usually.
This should cut out the menu, which may be the problem
other than that, I don't know, sorry

Same thing happened to me with DDO. I could open the main menu and such but upon clicking Install nothing happened. Apparentley, a lot of recent games use DVDs instead of CDs. maybe you dont have a DVD drive/arent using your DVD drive?

you've gotten purely became off automobile Play by twist of destiny. position a CD into the force, turn on 'My laptop', good-click the CD/DVD force then left-click 'Open' from the drop-down menu. If that doesn't show the contents of the CD then the CD/DVD force head both desires cleansing or that isn't any solid and also you may favor a clean CD/DVD force. if that is purely the motorcar Play function that has being turn off MS residing house windows help document will inform you procedures to instruct it decrease back on again. kind AutoPlay contained in the quest field.

Could be anything. Are the discs contaminated in some way? Are they proper games on proper discs or did someone copy them for you? Could be some other fault. When you say it doesnt do anything, do you hear anything at all, does a message flash up? More info please!
