I need to find some info about the features of feminism in the USA, its history and how feminism is described in the US literature. Where can I find this info? I am going to prove that "Gone With the Wind" by Margarett Mitchell is a feminist novel and this info will be usefull in writing this research. I'd be happy if you could help me

Look for pieces written by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. I'm writing about her and the women's movement. I'm a guy and she changed my view about feminism.

You can start by getting a general idea of feminism and literature with regard to specific authors/topics here, http://www.enotes.com/feminism-literature, before you look specifically at Gone With the Wind. You can also try this site, http://www.poetrymagic.co.uk/literary-theory/feminism.html, but it's based out of the UK and it might not be as helpful.
