I recently had the transmition lines changed on my 98 escort, I now have trans oil in my radiator and antifreeze mixed in with my tranny is that possible, could they have damaged something while changeing the lines to cause this cond. ???

Under normal circunstances, you should be able to change transmission lines without having these problems, however the trans cooler is located in the radiator. The transmission cooler may have been damaged, or just coincidently just started leaking internally.

Well yes. If you have an oil cooler and one line from the trans was connected to the oil cooler and one line connected to the trans.
You would push trans fluid into the oil and and trans into the oil.
IF this has happened, you can cause both damage to the trans and the engine.
I would say if someone did this to your car, I would seek a lawyers advice. You have a very good case for negligence Sever damage has accrued.
Trans fluid will not lube the engine and oil will make the clutches in the trans stick and not change gears.
