Use a small amount of Vasiline to the irritated skin. It is same and does not smell bad. It makes a moisture resistant barrior and helps the skin heal. It is great for all areas of the body. They even have a baby sented Vasiline. Buy at any discount or food store.

clear it up with a good, but gentle cream e.g sudocrem or e45, then when its clear smear a little vaseline under the nose or the area that was sore to prevent further chapping etc
