Guys who wear earrings are risk takers, and enjoy having an edgy image. They're confident and are not worried about others' stereotyping and criticism. One earring is cool, but both ears is the way to go these days. More pierced guys have both now. If you're going to take the leap, why fret over 1 versus 2? Don't wimp out now... do both!

Coming from a girl who like piercings alot I personally hate it when guys where earrings. It doesn't look right. I don't know what kind of guy you are but a gaged ear(not the see through kind) always looks good to me. Even if it's on sort of a preppy guy. Shows you have a slight wild streak. Just don't go to big if that's the type of person you are. But yeah, earrings do look a tad feminine

I wear earrings in both ears. I m 58 years old and I think it s cool.

Both it used to be if you wore it on one side it was a secret signal you are gay but different people will tell you different side and there is no standard, anyway, I think we are past all that sexism stuff and I like men who wear earrings or an earring because it is an individualistic thing to do.
I tried to talk my son and then my husband into earrings but they both declined

Both ears.
One ear just looks awkward and lopsided. The days of one earring and which ear meant one thing or another are long gone. Symmetry is a beautiful thing.

I don't like men that wear earrings but some women think that its sexy which can sometimes be true, but if you do get them pierced I think just the one.

now days it's both, i'm 27 and I got my left ear pierced when I was 12, I want to pierce my other one, but I feel like maybe I'm too old for that, cause' younger people get both maybe I don't fit the look?, don't know, I guess I need help with that question.

Either way, they both look good, if they have the right earrings.
