My father died last week. We had a full veteran service. They gave me the bullet shells from the 21 gun salute. I want to have them engraved. Where can I get it done?

Sorry for your loss. As for engraving, ask jewelry stores, ifyou want script writing or print writing , they (jewelry engravers)can engrave almost anything. If the store is small, they will refer you to a professional engraver who may work in his home or in another shop.

Depends on the quality and nature of the engraving that you want done. You can do simple handwritten work with an handheld electric engraver, usually available in hardware stores or hobby shops. If you want something more like professional embossing, plating or caligraphy, then I'm not sure exactly who you'd go to. I guess it would be whatever establishment does trophy engraving or name plate embossing and those kind of things. Try a Google or Yellow Pages search. And my deepest sympathy for your loss.

I would think that you would be able to get them hand engraved at any small store at your nearby Mall. Ther brass cartridges should be soft enough to be engraved with a simple scribe.

My heart goes out to you for your loss.

I'm sorry for the loss of your father.

For something this irreplaceable, I would call a local trophy shop and see if it can be done locally. I'd be too afraid of them getting lost in the mail if I had to send them somewhere.

Try one of the trophy stores, they do engraving also. See if they can help you.

Maybe at a trophy shop (or they might be able to tell you where you can have it done.) They can probably do some kind of a mounting for them, too, if you want.

I provide the service. All shipments are sent by priority mail (I have never had one lost) and we only work on one at a time so you can rest assured you get yours back. See my service on Ebay for details.
