How should I dance?

I am in high school and whenever we have a school dance my friends pressure me to go with them. I don't really like dancing and always feel akward. I also don't want to go to go to my prom because of my feeling of dancing being akward and because I don't have a date.

Like there is nobody watching. Pick up the beat of the music and make your body move to it. Even light movement, will not draw attention if you are concerned.

Then get a date! And take some dance class that will help you, or ask a trusted friend for help!

Just copy everyone else. You'll see everyone pretty much dances like each other. It's really nothing special the dances...just groove with the tune. hahahahh.

just feel the beat of the music and just let your body do what feels natural!

if that's not comoftable for you.. watch other people and see how they are dancing.. try and follow themm!

you could try 1 or 2 times to go but if you dont want to then dont.if they are your friend then they can respect your opinion but im pretty sure they were just seeing if you wanted to go because they thought it was fun.
