In my state with a learners permit, you can't ride after dusk, you can't leave the county the permit is endorsed in and you have to have a rider with a motorcycle license within one mile of you.
I was stopped with only a learners permit and my bike was towed away. They didn't have flatbed trailers back then. I watched as my bike was being towed away, dangling from a hook of an old style tow truck (my bike! my bike! waaaaaaahh!). I got a fine for riding without a license and I had to walk home. I had to pay the towing fee and the impound fee. By the time I got my bike out of impound, it had paint overspray all over it (the impound yard was right next to an auto body shop). There was nothing I could do. The impound yard wouldn't take responsibility saying the paint didn't come from our yard.
Save yourself a lot of pain and suffering, don't ride a motorcycle without a motorcycle license!

I've seen it where a cop made the person leave the bike on the side of the road when stopped with no license. Can't drive it if you don't have a license

hmmm... What a name that is. Well hmmm... is wrong he doesn't have any idea what he is talking about. The permit allows you to ride during daylight hours in good weather, usually with mileage stipulations. You don't have to haul a fat old biker on back with you. as for your question I've only seen people fined for it. However if you can ride at all take the test a get your endorsement!
hmmm... I am sorry for bad mouthing you I was wrong! The laws in some places are not right. Today is not my day, sorry again.

Fines, Jail and losing your license to drive anything....

I have seen a friend's bike picked up by tow truck, againest the side of bike, ruining his bike, because he only had a permit and no licensed driver with him! Remember, a permit still does not mean you can drive by yourself either! A licensed motorcycle driver is still required to be with you.

my friend got his bike impounded, after a year the permit expired and he was still riding around though then got pulled over and got it impounded.I live in Cali.He had to go to court, couldn't get his L's until he was 18,and paid a hefty fin to get his bike out of the impound.Had to pay storage fees for it also.On top of all that his parents beat the hell out of him.I was smart enough to get my l's though.

They would be arrested, ticketed, and their bikes impounded.

They are incredibly stupid, and are called "squids" by the rest of the motorcycling world.

They will all die soon, so don't get too attached.

Yes, I have my license .It depends what state you live in ,laws differ from state to state, also, depend what cop pulls you over they could let you go or take you to jail. My suggestion ,get your license to avoid court, fines, and jail...and bike impounded.

it will depend on the police officer, they could get a ticket for no motorcycle endorsement.

This depends on where you live.
The answer you get from somebody that lives some other place doesn't count.
