More homework eh,

data integrity is making sure it all makes sense, includes referrential integrity, checksums to make sure theres no corruption, because something might go bad on disk and you wouldnt necessarily find out until you try to access it.

Data security means having it all backed up and being able to recover so the backup policy it part of that, and having appropriate access controls in place to make sure only authorised access takes place.

"Data integrity" is a narrower term which is included in "data security".

Basically, "data security" means ensuring DATA CONFIDENTIALITY, DATA INTEGRITY and DATA AVAILABILITY.

"Data confidentiality" - ensuring that only the authorized entities have read access to the data.

"Data integrity" - ensuring that only authorized modifications to the data are allowed.

"Data availability" - ensuring that the data is available to all authorized entities at all times when needed.

Here "entity" is not necessarily a human user - it could be a program or a process.
