In Leicestershire, feels like there's a major hurricane going on out there. The trees are bending, it's whistling loudly and my windows and doors are rattling! Admitedly my house is set quite high up but this seems worse than usual! Anywhere else in the UK like this?

I am in the Clyde Valley - near Lanark - and it was very very windy up until about 10 mins ago. Had been all day - and wet too. It was sleet on Friday and enough snow yesterday to let the boys go out and play in it. Its gone now.

All calm at the moment but very cold

In colchester here, still as a graveyard, although the xmas decs did come crashing down in town about a week ago. They say it was because of high winds, but i just think they were put up by work experience students.

Cotswolds, it is blowing really strongly, some rain too and in the distance I can see huge flashes and when that happens the tv and streetlights go off, but, strangely, the power stays on.
