For homework, my teacher asked us to draw a molecular orbital diagram. He did not give us any specific details on what they are or how to draw one. Our textbook is completely void of any explanations that make any sense whatsoever. I was wondering if someone would take the time to help me out.

I AM NOT ASKING YOU TO DO MY HOMEWORK FOR ME, but just to help me out a little, explain what i am supposed to be doing so i can do my homework.

Any websites that you think would be helpful in explaining that would also be greatly appreciated.

i'm not completely sure, but i think that it has something to do with negative spins and all that.

the best thing to do would be to ask your teacher. he's the one that would now the best...

I always enjoyed the plum pudding model. Mmm plum pudding. I made some good rice pudding this morning. But it seems to have gone out of popularity due to advaces such as quantum mechanics. Maybe look up something more along those lines.
