after you start dating someone again?

Yes I think so. I'm friends with an ex but it took an extremely long time for it to happen. Honestly I think it depends on the situation and if you're fully over the person. If you're not fully over them then I'd suggest to take a lot of time away from them. To me, the day you can talk about your loves or your exs loves and hang out without it feeling weird or either one getting jealous is how you know you two can be friends.

My ex called me at work one day about a year after we split up, she had recently met my g/f of about 2 months . She invited us to take part in a birthday party for her sister who I am friends with. My ex and I have become very good friends since out divorce.

Yes I think it's possible. I am friends with my ex. We have three children, he will always be my first love, but we both have moved on. We see each other, borrow money from each other, and pick things up from the store for each other. We don't cross the line of course, but I would do anything for him in my power that was legal, and he the same for me. We are friends, and it is possible. It makes it good for our children.

I think that you can be friends. It depends on how you parted and if you have any kids together.

But, if both people put the past aside, you can be friends.

No. Just forget the ex. He is the world's biggest loser for screwing up the best thing he ever had in life so he doesn't deserve to have you as a friend either.

After he finishes off Sean, I'm sure he'll be your "friend again"
