Creme Brulee is a custard type dessert. Its very easy to make and doesn't take very long to do. The ingredients consist of heavy cream, egg, vanilla and sugar. Simply mix the ingrdients together, pur into a dish called a Ramekin, baked in the oven then cooled in the frig. Just before serving, sprinkle raw sugar on top and use a chef's torch to melt the sugar to a carmel like crust....then serve.

Spelled creme brulee (since its French there are also a couple of accent marks that I don't have on my keyboard).
It is a custard dessert topped with sugar that is caramelized by a small blowtorch until the top is hard and crunchy.

if you are referring to creme brulee, it's a dessert. sort of like a custard, but with sugar sprinkled on top, then the sugar is torched to melt it, making it crunchy. It's also delicious.
