Well the last Flash Gordon wasn't a remake of a actual film rather a dramatisation of a cartoon strip character created in the 1930's ...so there is a difference.

There isn't a film I would like to see remade, as in the Psycho done recently frame for frame, but there are stories i would like to see re-interpreted in film again. The books Beloved, is one . A great book ruined in interpretation. Why would a Nobel Prize winning novelist allow her prize winning book to be interpreted by a chat show host. Even if it is Oprah Winfrey.

Several :-
1. "Interview With The Vampire" with someone who can act as Lestat and Louis (Cruise and Pitt suck biggies),
2."Queen Of The Damned" - same reason as above but for Akasha (I liked Stuart Townshend as Lestat in this one),
3.That bloody submarine movie where the Yanks captured a certain German code-machine - I`d like this re-made with the true story told,
4."Dracula" without Keanu Reaves ,
5.All the X-Men films - without Famke Janssen ,
6.All the Bond movies after Connery and before Brosnan - with different Bonds ,

Others too but now I`m bored LOL

I wouldn't mind seeing Adrien Brody in a remake of To Kill a Mockingbird- I think that would be interesting.

if a movie is good enough to be remade, then why remake it at all? just enjoy the original...
now a new take on an old story is fine...

The originals are the best. The Omen re-make was the exact same thing.
