. I have had those dreams which seemed so real that, in the dream I asked myself if it were a dream and decide that, no, it was not a dream. Then I'd wake up and realize, it really was a dream. Sometimes, the only way to know, is to wake up.

I have had similar dreams, they can be fun but scary at the same time. Just when I am almost in control of the dream something triggers fear in me as well.
often wonder what that means. the worst was when I was being chased by something and woke up, I got up went to make myself a cup of tea to help calm my nerves, I walk into the kitchen and a hooded person was there, I could not see the face but the person reached for me. I screamed and woke up.

scary.

hope yours are better than mine.

you sure can :), its called a lucid dream :). you have to have dream recall (to remember the dream). you keep a dream diary for a few weeks then read it and try and find any patterns ect, then try and be aware in your dreams, after some practice you will pick up on one of these pattern in your dream then become lucid. it takes some practice :)
