I'm currently ordering a guitar for my son for chistmas and the total is £46.19 GBP. What does this change over to in american currency? Is it the same? Thanks, my son is 6 years old and left handed. The only place I could find him a suitable guitar was through a UK based store. Thanks again and peace!

Does he know he's getting a guitar?

The reason I ask is that I am left handed - I play "air guitar" left handed but I pick a real guitar up and instinctively play right handed.

It may be worth you checking first.

There are different solutions for us leftys: -

restringing a right handed
playing a right handed guitar "the other way"

Every lefty is different ;o)

Just thought I'd give you a heads up !

I haven't checked the exchange rate before answering this question. I have the impression that £1.00 is about US$1.90. So the guitar would work out to be under US$100.00.

£1 is about $1.90 at the moment, so as a rule of thumb, double it, and knock off a little. Say $85.

you can look up exchange rates on a number of sites, but a very rough rule of thumb is close to double . . .so very roughly $90 . . .

at today's rates, that's around $80.
