my parents told me that i should keep receipts of my groceries, gas expense and school supplies and the tax people can total it up and deduct it from sumthing i think,, because i am a full time student, ...<<<<<< yeah,, i don't get it.. does anyone know wat im talking about? can you pls explain it to me..

During the year your job will deduct an ammount from your pay check, and at the end of the year you get an income tax around february and march and people like H&R Block will add up all the tax they collected or you payed and you'll get a sweet check at the end( usually in 1month if you faxed your report)

You should have someone like H&R Block prepare your taxes. They are trained to know what are legal exemptions. The money they can save you will be well spent!
