a point to make it is the british kneecaping not irish..ian paisley...and as for the idiot who said they helped us in the famine well actually while 3 million people died the brits were taking all the crops and cattle out of the country....it goes to show how many believe what there government says to them and the media are controlled by them...i am not getting at the people its your government..the government over in england are still taking from us..funny how now we have money everyone wants to be our friend...and we have never been to war we are a peaceful country.

Britain has never treated ireland very well its true. Its a shame because we could have been great pals. Then again a lot of irish culture is built on hating the brits and so there you go.

Check your history. Ireland and Scotland used to invade England frequently throughtout the middle ages. Also, Irish mercenaries used to fight alongside the British eg American Independance War, for money.

If it is any consolation, the British government shaft me every day of the week so just be thankful you don't live here. (And your lot skinned me when I visited Dublin last year.. I was only there for two days and I had to remortgage the house when I got back and saw my bank account!)
