The simple answer is no! Cable tv comes in your house via a cable! The only way to pick it up is to buy a TV tuner card!

You need TV tuner, I have one on my PC and I watch 128 Chanel's . this is were I got it but you need to buy the one for laptop.

you need a tv tuner card. but it is doable. my bf is thinking about doing that. so you need a coaxil (spelling?) cable too

Slingbox is made specifically for that. There's equipment you need to buy. You can get this at Best Buy.
