He ran the dishwasher and he cleaned all the suds up, but when I tried to run the dishwasher there are still suds I tried to drain it again & I still cannot get it out. What should I do?

Clear most you can out, get towels ready on the floor and let it rip.

Use an entire package of Mortons Table Salt. Fill your soap dispenser with the salt as well as the small extra resevoir with salt. Take all that is left in the container and sprinkle it in the bottom of the dishwasher. Run the dishwasher on one complete cycle. The sodium chloride (salt) counter acts the soap. You may have to run a second cycle if your husband put alot of soap in.

I was going to suggest salt, but see someone else has already done that. I used one cup of salt and ran it one complete pot and pan cycle and the suds were gone. A tiny bit of regular detergent will work fine -- a whole bunch will cause the suds like you had. Thanks.

i think you will have to run it several more times to get all the suds out

Leave it till your next dish load .. Don't add any detergent .
And I used regular dish soap but only a small squirt and mine was fine.
Give him credit for trying...
