Lending tree charges the lenders a lot of money to be a part of their network, and guess who the lenders pass the charges on to? You.

Lending Tree gives your info as a "lead" to other lenders who have paid to be on Lending Tree's network. Get ready for a lot of contact from them if you give your info! To stay in control, I would contact the lenders yourself instead. Try Eloan, Ditech, and Choice Finance.

Lending Tree is only interest in Lending Tree. Great advertisement on tv though. But that is just propaganda. Your best bet is to contact a local loan officer that is licensed in your state.

I have heard bad reports on lending tree; alot of bait and switch. I would try and get referrals through people you know.

They may be trustworthy, but you won't get the best deal.
