I have known a number of friends from England, Germany, and France who, after living here for a while, had themselves circumcised at the urging of their wife or by friends like me.
I am still in touch with them. I asked how they liked it and how is their sexlife now. All of them liked it very much and found that whole penis sensitivity is as good if not better than being uncircumcised. Two had a tight foreskin. They are gratetful to be rid of the pain they had in intercourse. Three had general anesthesis. Two others had local. There was no pain during the procedure. There was slight discomfort for 2 to 5 days afterward. All went back to work between 1 and 2 weeks. A good resource is www.circumcision.center in Atlanta GA. This clinic under Dr. David Cornell, a skilled urologist, is one of the best I understand. There may be others less expensive. Sometimes whether you are Jewish or not, you can find a mohel through a rabbi in a synagogue near you, who will do the circumcision at a reasonable price. Be sure to check out any urologist or mohel as to how many adult circumcisions they have performed successfully. Also figure out what type you want, high and tight, loose, etc. Anyway go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Yes, the US is the only country that still routinely cuts up the genitals of helpless baby boys for non-religious reasons. Civilized huh?

You're European husband is quite lucky. So are you, a foreskin prevents you from getting all dried out and torn up during sex.

If you want to imagine the pain; imagine having the hood of your clitoris removed. The male and female prepuce are similar in design and purpose.

Why do you want your husband to be mutilated, don't you like him as he is?Why does he have to conform to what you consider the norm? The U.S is the only western country whose people continue to have their sons genitals carved up,a shame-full practice encouraged by greedy doctors who see it as a source of easy money.

he only should if there is a bad infection, like one that wont go away without being circumcised, appearantly it is very traumatic for an adult to get it done though.

I had a friend whose husband did it. He said it was extremely painful. I'd like to know why you want him to get it done...

It's BAD....DON'T do it!

It's just a silly religious custom, anyway. Don't do it.

It could also be referred to as genital mutilation.
