I roast the turkey upside down; the juices fall into the white and doesn't dry out ;you lose the crispy skin on top but most people don't eat that anyway and you can enjoy the turkey b/c it is juicy that it doesn't need gravy. happy thanksgiving

If you have the right stuff you could try rotisserie. Or, get Turkey breast, slice it open, stuff with potatoes, and make twice baked potatos in the turkey breasts... or perhaps try a different type of marinade, instead of just its juices... like an apple cider/cinnamon marinade.

Thats all Ive got off the top of my head.

the only way i know how to cook turkey is over the oven and put the usual dressing and stuff in it.thats the traditional way,but i guess one could be creative on their cooking turkey this year.i know this one guy,he puts pineapples around the turkey after it is cooked.and i also seen on tv that this one woman she put flowers around her turkey, artificial though.and dressed it up with craft ideas.so i think one can dress it up a bit with flowers and pineapples and stuff.
hope this helped ya!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Rule of thumb: 1 hour for evey 4 pounds of turkey, and baste evey half hour.

...and, of course, theye is always "fried turkey". This however could be dangerous if you do not know what you are doing.

I barbque it or smoke it or fry it. You can find recipes on the internet easily. They all taste great plus you can use rostisery racks or add favors to it by buying a injection cooking needle and adding your favorite favor buttermilk, barbque ,butter, smoke sauce,a1 you pick one or something else.

Here's the Butterball hotline: 1 800 Butterball. You could try their website, too.
