I know,The Nazi Schultzstaffal kicked your door in in the middle of the night and told you to celebrate Christmas, or it's off to the gas chamber.

The separation of Church and state is the reason the government doesn't acknowledge the Christian meaning of Christmas. The wars in the middle east should be a living reminder to all, just how dangerous religion in government can be.
The conservationists would be the ones to talk to about the tree issues, and for good reason. The eradication of trees saps the environment that contribute to the destruction of the ozone and global warming. I hope I said that right!

I think the Government would love you to celebrate Christmas: Spending all your hard earned cash on presents = paying sales tax, spending more money on booze = more sales tax, driving to fast after drinking = spending even more than on the booze on speeding and under the influence taxes.
Note the difference: Trees for sale in a shop = sales tax; trees off the back of a truck = no sales tax. So make sure you buy from the right place.

i haven't heard about this. i personally hate artificial trees..... they are cheap and fake looking and don't have the same essence of a real tree. sure you kneed to save trees for our oxygen supply but people specifically grown Christmas trees on farms for this purpose. i would write a letter to your local government maybe they'll have an answer for you. i doubt they would outlaw Christmas trees and Christmas. that's ridiculous and unlawful everyone has a right to whatever religion they believe in and they really cant take that away from you.

It's not the govt. It's the ACLU.
Don't think they give a hoot about saving the trees though.
They can't make money off of defending trees. They would probably enjoy defending the Chinese though. It would shake things up a bit for them. We all know they love the controversy.
Controversy = Attention
They love attention.

We buy a living potted tree every year and plant it on our property. It's been really cool because the trees have grown with our kids and now our grandkids.
I don't know what your problem is. There are many solutions to killing or not killing a tree.
