I'm asking this question, because I've just re-decorated my bedroom in gold. My partner thinks that as a bedroom is your personal space, the colours you choose say something about how you feel, perhapsI have illusions of grandeur,

My bedroom is a vile shade of salmon pink/orange paint. The only thing that says about me is that I ain't got not money to decorate it!
If i had the choice, I'd either do it in soft yellow tones with pure white bed covers for a nice airy, relaxed feel, or maybe go a bit wild and have red, I've heard its good for you know what!

The walls are a creamy colour. The room is small and the bed, which is huge, takes up the most space. I have a predominantly pink patchwork quilt on it. All is says about me is that i like my country cottage look (well i do live in a country cottage!)

My bedroom is too shades, choocolate on the main wall, and the other walls ivory. Very serine colour calming and warm. Just what a bedroom should be.

My bedroom is an olive green, and although I think it's a nice color, it doesn't really say anything about me because my husband painted it before we were married. He likes green and wears it often. To him the color green represents life.

i dont like it but i cant afford to redecorate and i havent done since i moved into my flat 15 months ago.
i do think it says something about you.
i would love my bedroom pink white and a rich deep purple.
what do you think that would mean?

Indeed the collor doesn't meening how you are, or what you do.
But. imagine if you wake up in the morning and you are in a place that you don't like. How would be your day???
So I think you must use the collor you like, the collor that you feel good your self.
