What are the best international gay friendly cities? Once I finish my degree, I'd like to move outside the U.S. But I have'nt the slightest clue where I'd like to visit. Give me some good examples of cities that are very gay kosher!
Is London ok?
Or Tokyo?

Move to Vancouver Canada.Canada is gay friendly and you can legally get married here.We are after all the best country in the world even if we are rated #6. Than again I hear Toronto has a big gay community. We have the best drag queens and killer gay pride and hey I'm not even gay and I know this then again I have a ton of gay friends.Good luck anywhere you decide to go!

London is possibly the most cosmopolitan city in the world. The gay scene here is huge and caters for all types. There are 2 large gay areas (bars/clubs etc), Soho in Central London and Vauxhall in South London and you can literally party 24/7. There are lots of gay saunas and many cruising areas. Most Londoners are very tolerant and you can walk around hand-in- hand with your partner without raising an eyebrow. There is a "Pride" type festival in July and this attracts up to 100 000 gay people and their friends/family from Europe each year. We have an annual LGBT arts festival and film festival. London - GAY ALL THE WAY!!

You could live life like that, but then every time you visit them and whatnot, you will have to carry that burden of knowing you are lying to them. Also, you will have to hide who you truly are in front of them, can't bring a boyfriend home for the holidays, etc., etc. You COULD do that, but personally I think you should tell them. It will make life a lot easier, and you will be sharing a huge part of your life with them, which is always great for building relationship. It may be hard to tell them, but remember your family will love you no matter what. Also, I think that parents almost always know if their child is gay. They just choose not to say anything, and let them come out. Just sit down and talk to them, be straight forward and don't sugar coat anything. The more real you are, the better and more they will understand, and the better off you relationship will be.

Brother...Friend... come to Montreal Canada. Sure it gets a little cold in the Winter but we French Canadians are very friendly and have many creative ways to stay warm. Ask any gay person who's been here, I suspect you'd be pleased. Also Toronto, Vancouver, but if you want off the continent, try Amsterdam, London, or Sydney.

Cheers and Happy Hunting.

I think London is pretty cool, but I don't know it well. Manchester (in the north of England) has a really big gay community, loads of clubs, and a Pride festival every year.
I think most big cities nowadays have large gay communities, but I haven't personally been to many. I hope you have fun.

The cities that are not male dominated country. Not countrys with a high macho value. Germany and Italy are not very friendly, Japan is not. England is, Australia is, France is hard to judge.

London is cool. I heard Canada is great too.

Singapore and many of the mideast countries are not. You can get executed for being gay in those places.
