The latest info from the wal-mart electronics manager is approximately 14-21 days from the release date of the PS3.

Probably after Christmas with a few trickling into store before then. Don't look for wide spread availability until around March 2007. That has been the history of these companies. Remember the new Xbox??? Release a few, get demand up, sell out the supply, trickle in a few more, send a larger shipment and they sell out quickly, then start the normal delivery.

LOL @ the chosen. SONY pronounced they'd attempt to deliver A MILL beforehand THE 12 months became OVER. I DONT SEE that occuring WITH 3 extra DAYS LEFT. THERE ought to be some around earnings TAX TIME. FEB/MARCH THATS once I PLAN I GETTING MINE.
