are virgos very secretive?

i'm a cancer...i know this virgoan guy for few years.. hes practical and down to earth, we can talk about anything but he wont open up when it comes to his family, work or relationship...he'd say its not neccessary for me to know all these, what matters most is how he feels towards me... i m just wondering if virgo has this trait, or is it just him?

i've known him for 5 years- i mean its not like i want to intrude his personal life or anything.. i just feel that something is missing n kinda weird when i dont get to another level of knowing him better.... could have been more one but too bad for his secretiveness...so close yet so far..

His secrecy cannot be attributed to him being a virgo. I find it strange, even kind of rude, to say the least, that he told you it's not necessary to know those things UNLESS he is a billionaire and wants you to like him for who he is and not what he has. But because I don't think that is the case, I am going to go with my first hypothesis, which is that he is just strange.

My fiance and I both are virgos and are family and relationships have molded us throughout life; I cannot imagine getting close to someone without knowing about their family or their relationships to others, or even their work. You may want to make sure he isn't on the FBIs most wanted list.

I was with a Virgo for 5 years and they don't do emotions. Earthy Virgo's are very logical and analytical and emotions are something they are not familiar with at all. Until myself with the Watery Scorpio sun saturate the earth of the Virgo did he want to talk about feelings and until we broke up for a year did he really tell me how he feels. Too late in my eyes. Virgo's can and cannot be trusted, the males are the 'bachelors' of the zodiac after all. Mine was a cheater and a liar but not all Virgo's are the same. You like communication, we all do but do him a favour and give him a break. I dated a virgo like u Im a cancer...he was very secretive and introverted...only around certain men did he open up a little...
He had alot of issues which at first I was ok with but not being truthful with your partner is not ok...trust is what is necessary in any relationship ...when u don't have trust u cant build a solid relationship....
The virgo I dated was a good guy at first but after time is true colors shouted out like niagara falls...found out he was not who he said he was...(.A LIAR!!!!! was what he really was)
Then when I broke up with him...he was crawling back to me like a baby...(sad.)...
He lied about his family, work in the way was extremely lazy never complete any thing he started...

hmmm my brother is a virgo and he will open up about anything sometimes i wish he would shut up lol. R u sure he is a virgo that sounds more like a cancer. My boyfriend of 4 years and is a cancer. And its sooooooooo hard to break through that shell. He has told me things that he could've have told me when we were together for the 1st year. I ask him he waits so long and doesn't respond. Anyway this guy may have a cancer rising.

No I have found being with two virgos that they will sometimes get scared when a water sign like us tries and open them up as if it somehow baring their soul on the table will kill them.

I'm a scorpio and know that none of us are perfect, but virgos I find are weird when it comes to getting to know the real them... Both shared facts of their life but when they figured out I wanted to be with them and get to know them better, they basically shut me out.. Too scared I suppose.

Even with this, there is one I would possibly get back with if she would learn to deal with her feelings I think.
