I think the family will fall apart. Becasue if you look at the seasons before you realize that the Eric is like the savior.He helps everybody.I know Lucy is really really close to Eric and Ruthie doesn't even want to come home from scootland to be with the family.That right there is not caring...If Eric dies...think about how the family will react then?

I find i highly unlikely that he will actually die. It is great for ratings to have some sort of huge drama like him possibly dying, but I think it would kill the show if he were to actually die. He is the one who holds the family together and has always been the go-go-guy for everyone on the show. It would be crazy to try to replace him some way and I do not think the family would survive that kid of tragedy right now. I am pretty certain that the writers will let him almost die and then some miracle will happen, as always, and everything will be fine in the end.

Well, they would definitely have to move out of that giant house, they all live in. I have always wondered how a minister can afford such nice things with a wife that stays home. I realize that the parish sometimes supplies the home, but, look it that place! Such an unrealistic show!

Hopefully it will mean no more 7th Heaven, and I'll stop seeing commericals for the worst show ever. But that's just my personal opinion, because I personally cannot stand that show.

Killing Eric off will hurt the ability for the production company to sell reruns into syndication. I myself feel a sadness even now watching
reruns with the impending death of Eric. Hopefully they will not kill him off.

I think it will not be that good of a show anymore. I also don't really think that they are going to kill him off. If they do, I think they'll have a lot of people stop watching it.

He will probably die on the last episode so they won't show the aftermath of his death.
