EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- The Chicago Bears allowed the New York Jets to hang around for three quarters. Everything changed when the fourth quarter began.
Mark Bradley turned a short completion into a 57-yard touchdown 10 seconds into the final quarter, and the Bears beat the Jets 10-0 on Sunday.
With Chicago leading 3-0, the Bears faced a second-and-6 when Rex Grossman tossed an 11-yard pass to Bradley neat the right sideline. Bradley stepped away from Drew Coleman's tackle attempt as the cornerback slipped, allowing Bradley to sprint untouched into the end zone.
Chicago (9-1) notched its second shutout this season -- the Bears blanked the Packers at Green Bay on Sept. 10. The Bears, coming off a 38-20 victory over the New York Giants, also became the first road team since the 1999 Washington Redskins to win two straight games at the Meadowlands.
Thomas Jones had 121 yards on 23 carries, and Grossman overcame an unproductive first half to go 11-of-22 for 119 yards and a touchdown.

The Bears won 10-0. They got their only touchdown on a 57-yard Grossman to Bradley pass, and Thomas Jones ran for 121 yards. But the real story of the game, as it often is, was the Bears' defense. The "D" forced two turnovers, including an Urlacher interception in the end zone, to keep the Jets off the board all day.

As a Jet fan, I was disappointed. The Jets dominated the first half, and they would've scored if it wasn't for an INT at the end zone by Brian Urlacher. The Jets opened the second half kickoff with an onside kick, which was recovered by the Bears, and they went up 3 - 0. Then a 57 yard pass put the Bears up 10 - 0. Otherwise, the Jets really dominated the Bears.

It was kind of a boring game to be honest. I was really hoping that the Jets could pull an upset, especially since they did so well last week against the Patriots.
There wasn't really anything particularly special about the game. I was proud that the Jets played so well defensively. They could have allowed a lot more points than 10, so I'm happy that they held them off.
There were two interceptions, one in the first half when Pennington went to throw it into the endzone. Nothing resulted from that. There was a second interception that resulted in the Bears field goal I believe in the 4th quarter. It was a completely scoreless first half. Bradley was the one who caught the 57 yard TD pass from Grossman in the 3rd.
All of the broadcasters couldn't stop saying enough good things about Urlacher. He's so great, yadda yadda yadda.
To be honest, after the TD, I kind of half watched the game. The Jets were obviously not going to pull this win out, so it was just like watching a half dead fish gasp for it's last breath of air.

To the above poster: You love the eagles so much yet they play the Colts next week. Bears play the NE patriots. And the eagles better hope McNabb's injury isn't severe, else Manning is going to roll over them.
Yea, Bears won their typical way - all defense, little to no offense showing up. Still a win's a win. Unfortunately I don't get their games all the way out west where I am. Go bears!

Being the FB fan that I am I had the displeasure of watching this game. Don't worry CHI won 10-0. Grossman had an off day, but the Bears pulled it off. Not that I can say the same for my Packers (0-35). You have internet I take it, so go to NFL.com for all your live scoring needs. For injury/player updates, go to rotoworld.com/
