Well because sometimes the child begs and gets on the parents nerves! My sister has 3 kids and they get on her nerves! Begging her for candy, etc and crying and screaming sometimes for no apparent reason just for attention. So she yells at them out of frustration. She doesnt mean to but they make her mad but thats her reason.

it actually may be because it has a calming effect on some parents. stress that has nothing to do with the child may build up and the child may be the one to bear the brunt of it. or it always can be that the child was disobedient, talking it out with some kids do not work so yelling may be the only way to get it across to them.

parents have all the right to yell at their children (if there is a good reason)
remember, kids misbehave and they are bad; parents these days need to get more sturn w/ their kids!
