Do you mean that if you drank blood, would you absorb the nutrients in it? The answer is most definitely yes. You would digest and absorb nutrients from any blood you drink.

Yes they can. One tribe in Africa mies milk from their cattle with blood from them. You get blood off meat. It is all very similar. You eat chicken and make it into human protein. The amino acids come apart on digestion and get back together to form the new protein.
