With a colony that included your close friends and family, even if you knew you would never be able to come back? Assume the universe is an interesting and novel place, and that you don't necessarily have to take your relations if you don't like them. Assume the transit will be made cryonically preserved so you won't spend the entire trip bored.

This is a "what if" question. I only say that because of the absolutely astounding 40% of Yahoo users who seem to be suffering from some sort of brain damage, and take non-serious questions seriously.

no i want to live,
it would have to be another planet with an Atmosphere

and yes this one is almost used up ,and is facing an all out nuclear war.
not the safest place to be any more.
