According to a household cleaning book I own, use club soda liberally and blot. They actually recommend soaking the carpet and then standing on the rag to blot the stain, so really dump on the club soda.

You are not going to believe this one, but the best thing to remove hair coloring out of "anything" is good ol' "TIDE". Just get Tide without anything added to it. Tide will take hair coloring out of just about anything that I know of, even your hair. I wouldn't buy a large amount of it, if the spot isn't that big. I would go to a laundrymat and buy one of the small one load boxes and use that as it should be just enough unless you have alot of it to get up. But use it as directed and as liberally as you need to and the color should come up. Take care and Happy Thanksgiving!! Cindy Roo!!!!
