Okay, here's the thing. I'm a very energetic person at times and then I'm the polar opposite at other times where I'm just really mellow. I really like my mellow side, I love it. But I can't control when my energetic and overly hyper side comes out. I hate that side of me and I want to get rid of it. Some people like my really energetic side and I think it annoys other people at times. It annoys me too and after I get out of that mode I feel like an idiot. I just want to keep my mellow side and get rid of that hyper side of me.

What I hate about the hyper side is that I can get really loud, I don't know how to calm down, I can't chill out worth a crap, and it puts some people off.

I love my mellow side. I only want that part of me. How do I get rid of my other part?

You can't get rid of either part, they are both you. Lay off caffeine and sugar and see if that helps. Work out a lot to burn off some of the extra energy!

Oh Mi God...me and u need to meet! lol jk. But i'm the exact same way! sometimes i do wish i could control my energetic side and mellow out. Sometime i wish i could show my energetic side.


All you have to do is think of something that makes you hyper and something that makes you mellow. And just learn to calm down...Exercise or run around in the mornings or something..that way you'll be pretty well kept the rest of the day. Just control your moods and don't worry about it...I'm the exact same way, when i'm hyper i'm loud and act retarted...when i'm mellow i'm kinda boring but not in a "holy crap we need to get away from this chick" kinda sense.

Just think about it and you should be able to find a solution.

First, I think, you should see a Dr. just to make sure you don't have a medical problem- like a chemical imbalance. Either way.... meditate. Find a positive outlet for your energy; maybe an art project-- it's more technique than talent. or volunteer..help the elderly with yard work. By channeling that energy in a positive way, you'll like yourself better--it takes both sides to make the whole you. Good luck.

in what situations do you get hyper? keep yourself out of that and focus on the stuff "mellow you" likes to do. it does, by the way, make sense what your saying.

energetic isn't a bad thing. in fact, so am i and i love it. it's good and let's you have something to do. maybe you feel too hyper and you just need to calm it down a notch. don't try and to get rid of it completely, because energticness (sp) is good!

Have you been checked for bipolar? You sound like my husband. One day he vibrates, the next he flows. He's on meds now, though.

all you need to worry about is yourself and being that person you are the hell what anybody thinks its your life and your living it not them good luck and have a nice day
