where can a senior cizen raaising a nine year old get help for xmas?

69 yr old lady on social security raising grt-grndson 9 rs old. He has a learning disability. parents live out of state and financially unable to care for the boy. She is also providing a home for her own daughter who is 46, partially blind, and has had a heart attack. They are currently waiting for another income source but need a little help during the holiday. The grandmother was employed until her company closed in December 2005

You can contact your local Salvation Army or United Way, or Church...but don't call it X mas...it is CHRISTmas.
