Whoa. There are racist people all over the globe. When you keep generalizing people, it fuels the fire for it. The only way to avoid racism is to prevent being a racist yourself.

Wow! Someone yelled "Ching chong lo mein!" at me out of a car before. Honestly, all it did was make me want to go eat Chinese food =P I know what you mean though, but I've been told that I'm not approachable =S I'm really quiet in school and for some reason people are scared to talk to me for that, so I have mostly Korean friends. Hmm you practice basketball...you should join the team and be the best! Then people can look at you as the smart funny athletic boy. Who can resist that? Besides, don't let racist people have any effect on you. They're not the kind of people you want as friends anyway :)

Thats a fairly major generalisation - saying that all black people think any one thing is just as much nonsense as saying all white, or asian people think the same. Do yourself a favour and believe that even if you have met loads of people who fit a stereotype, not everyone like them must be that way too. I am lucky enough to have many black, white and asian friends and I have never once heard any of them being unpleasant or generalising about another race.

well, you manage two over-generalizations in your question.
I think race relations among all sectors would be a lot better if we stop mistaking the bad apples, whether they number 1 or 1,000, for the entire ethicity.
That would apply for the sampling of black people who call you names, you for encompassing all black people by your remark, and me for not putting your question together with a few others over recent days and assuming "all" Asians complain X,Y, or Z about race, while making broad generalizations themselves.
Let's all try to see the good at the same time we analyse the bad. It will help keep the bad in its proper perspective.

I'm glad to know that you clarified not all blacks. Because one of good friends is Japanese, and there's no way in hell, I'd call her a "c". To me that means I would be comfortable with someone calling me the "n" word, which I'm not. Plus that is so childish and juvenile. Maybe the people who you've heard using such insulting language just needs to grow up, and get a life!

Do not put me in that bag. I would react to the use of the C word the same way I would react to the N word. I hate racists and racist behavior and do not associate with people who practice racism or bigotry against anyone. I think people who hate like this are simple minded and ignorant. In fact, your question makes you sound like a bigot. What's up with that?

Well, my friend that is too bad, but I know of no overriding animus from Africa-Americans against Asians. At least not here in New York as for the racial slurs I am sure we are not in the forefront of that. A question for you if you take a specific situation and then apply it to an entire group whats that called?

There are racist of every race, and some are hypocrites too. I met Blacks who made in fun of me for being Asian, but I also met Blacks who were very helpful than me. Judge people as indiviuduals, not race.

I kinda know what you mean...and I'm black, but I'm another nationality and I grew up not around black Americans...and I find a lot of the time, black Americans are not accepting of me! It's sad...I think that those who consider themselves oppressed like to oppress others to gain some sort of false esteem. Just ignore them and continue being you...that's what I do...it's frustrating as they tend to just stare, glare, and insult me...they seem to be the rudest subculture towards me...

I never called anyone that word, and I wont even say it. You don't know what you're talking about. I find asians easier to get along with than some white people. At least with them, I don't have to worry about someone talking about me behind my back1

I would just like to say that he wasn't talk about every black person, just the people who make racist slurs. Fully read the question before you answer. And the answer to your question, I don't know.
