i went to try to get a ps3 on friday afternoon(3pm) to my local walmart, which i thought you couldn't reserve, and whoever grabs one first gets 2 buys it. to my surprise, Stupid a.ss nerds were already camping out and had them reserved. my brother beat 2 of them up, and got arrested. while i was getting ready to fight the stupid walmart manager!!, i say we consumers should make a stand and tell sony that we are not going to wait like freaking idiots to buy their s.hit, specialy for $600!!! i think we should set a date and storm the the stores, and send Sony a messege.

So you want to break the law in addition to hurting other people, and their paychecks to send Sony a message? Very juvenile. If you want to send Sony a message, buy someone else's product. That is the only message that companies understand. Just the fact that your brother got arrested and you were getting ready to fight the manager shows your level of smartness though, so you wouldn't understand economics.

Right! By proving to Sony how desperate we are for their product, that will put us in the position of power!
Attacking local stores that have NO CONTROL over how many of the devices they get will prove how stupid- er, I mean 'serious' we are, won't it?
You want to REALLY take an effective action? Arrange a wide-scale total boycott of the PS3 and the Wii, etc. until the companies stop the idiocy of making big promises and limited production runs.

Ummm... the store had nothing to do with it. IF you want to get someone back you'll have to fly to Japan and beat up Sony people personally. They're the ones that didn't send that many. And I say screw the PS3 anyway. If you're willing to spend $600 on a system now, imagine how much they'll try to bilk us for when they come out with the next one?

Violence is not the answer. Disobeying the law is not the answer. They have rules for a reason. People do not get hurt that way. You were only mad because they beat you and waited for it. They waited for it for a long time, they deserved it to get it. If you wait, they will have more and the prices will go down, just like everything else that they do that with. It isn't worth it fighting over. Others are selling things for less that have more things to offer like motion activated sensors for only $250. Material things are not worth fighting for. Plus the first ones out usually have flaws that have to be fixed anyway.
