We are eating the meal on a different day because my father is coming home on the 29th, I just want to know if it still caounts as Thanksgiving...... Well in a sence it is but you know what I mean

Yeah. Perfectly fine. My family usually decorates the inside late november, and makes way to the yard so we're not the first ones with decorations. Nobody else has the guts to put theirs up so early. Lol. Wimps.

Yes, it would still count. Our birthday celebrations are rarely on the actual birthday. It will be nicer to wait a few days & have your dad there.
