My friend 'Fallen From Grace' is being attacked by another Yahoo answerer simply because the answerer doesn't believe its her picture... which it is, as I happen to know her... although it is a modelling shot and she looks way rouger in real life (by her own admission and not mine). What happened to that sisterly bond?

Jealousy is the pettiest of vices, because it's based in self-hatred, but that self hatred is directed towards other people who never did anything harmful, rather than being directed either inward (also not helpful -- that causes destructive behaviour) or being directed toward self-improvement.

It's such a silly thing about human nature that we constantly compare ourselves to others, just to find reasons to either feel inferior or superior.

Fallen From Grace: sorry that happened to you. It really stinks when you feel judged by strangers. I usually try to console myself by thinking about how the people who DO know me like me and respect me, and the ones who don't? Well, they can go jump in a lake if they're so ignorant they don't even take the time to find out who I am before they dismiss me.

As for whether jealousy is ever attractive in a woman. . . sometimes it's flattering to a fellow, if his girlfriend thinks he's so attractive she becomes jealous, thinking other women will also want to be with him. But in the end, the nattering becomes annoying and whatever flattering feeling there was at first, quickly drains away, and jealousy returns to its place, along with grudge-bearing, manipulation, nagging, belligerence, insensitivity, and rudeness, as extremely unattractive traits in a woman (or any human being).

No jealousy is not an attractive trait in women or men, its childish and pathetic, I am sure kids in the school playground behave better than whoever it is that's been so damn nasty to 'Fallen from Grace', someone must have such low self esteem to be jealous of a photograph and how selfish and shallow are they to attack someone because of how they look, I hope she can block the person who is been vindictive and shallow and has also reported them to YA too, god help them if they are going to through life been so nasty because someone is beautiful.

No it never is, but how to deal with it? Remember it comes from self doubt, insecurity, lack of confidence. You know attack is the best form of defence rubbish.
Be honest though have you never felt a tinge of jealousy ever about anything? It's part of most people's makeup. Thank goodness most of us are intelligent enough, (that's you and me) to rise above it.
Seriously though just ignore it, as you say in the raw your friend is much like the rest of us but has the luck to be able to emphasise her good points and the guts to stand up front and take the flack from others for looking so good. Stick together and you can rise above that kind of rubbish

I say if this girl cant ignore the *attacker* then get a new picture, just so the attacker will stop. Sisterly bond always break, and it happens evry day. I dont know if any of this will help, but i hope it does.

Tell me about it. Two seconds after putting up this picture i got attacked by women for being an attention seeker. If i did want attention it certainly wouldn't be from the people who email me based on this picture. But at least the men are honest in their intentions.
And apparently i ask ridiculous dumb questions, well of course i do, i always have but apparently it's ok when its coming from a cartoon girl with abnormally large eyes.

When girls get jealous it's annoying. But then again I am a girl and I'm only seeing it from our perspective. I think when guys get jealous it's attractive but it depends on HOW jealous they get. If it's out of control jealousy and they are keeping the girl away from her family and friends and won't tolerate any of her guy friends then it qualifies as abuse.

But if it's a guy that doesn't trust any guys around his girlfriend or wife and get's a little insecure when he sees her talking to them a lot...it's okay and understandable.

Whats the fuss about?

She is a dawg with a freaky face, I'm sure the people Emailing her are sad gits with no chance of speaking to a real person, I certinly wouldn't take it as a compliment!

And Angel your no better hen!

Seeking reassurance from men by posting provocative photos of 'you' is low, you might want to consider therapy hun!

Jealousy brings out the worst traits in anybody!

girls can be terrible. And some are just unhappy with themselves, so they want to put others down. Oh well... I don't deal with drama, it's a little ridiculous and pointless. No, nobody likes the jealousy trait-at least they shouldn't.

Why do you care what anyone thinks, male or female. As long as you are happy with yourself, everything else is rubbish. Use any photo you like, real or unreal, it looks good to me and no I'm not gay either. If I was, I would say I was.
