I use to work @ a grocery store and personally tried to do the coupon mega thang. There are restrictions on those coupons, i.e. certain sizes (they be claiming they get the smallest size), NOT to be combined with other offers, etc, etc

I appreciate everyone's submissions and not be too doubtful. But did anyone notice a price difference in X2, X3 coupon value store prices a little higher than other stores?

I did very well once. On a $110.00 food order I saved $55.00. But that is the best I have ever done. I do not know how these folks can use the coupons and in the end pay $12.00 or something like that on a $200 order.

I use them all the time. Just today I saved $37 off of $115. That isn't even usual, sometimes it's more. Every little bit helps. I also take advantage of rebates (if they're practical). I cash the rebate checks and save the money for my "fun in the sun" fund/summer, when I don't work. My toddler and I go to parks, the zoo, get ice cream and I don't have to run to the bank.

I managed, once, to knock a $180+ bill down to about $36 with coupons at a place that doubled them. Best I could do.

.I guess I'm lazy.............I don't even cut them out anymore.

When I used to smoked, I would use coupons that came in the mail, though.
