I' mgoing out tonight for dinner. I'm not sure what sort of place we're going to so what is appropriate? I don't want to dress right up and then its casual, but I don't want to be underdressed either. I'm thinking nice dark jeans, with a sweater, maybe a nice necklace, and cute shoes. or should I wear a dress??? Ah I hate first dates - any answers would be cool

I would recommend asking your date what he plans to wear. Don't be afraid to ask him if it's a casual restaurant or somewhere that you should dress more formally. You'll feel more confident in just knowing you're not over or under dressed!

Call and ask him where you both will be going. That way you can prepare better. If it's Taco Bell, a pair of cute jeans and a top will do. But If it's the Olive Branch, a cute lil dress with cute shoes should be fine.

Go with ur instincts. A necklace, pearls or any type of elegant jewlery will add to a simple pair of jeans,sweater , and shoes. Your own answer was great enough, it will turn out fine.

ask where you are going! If you are anything like me though, and afraid to ask, then where nice jeans and a sweater with very cute shoes and nice jewelry. You should be fine.

Its perfectly acceptable to ask where you are going so you can dress appropriately. Where a dress for the first impression impact, and then ask if you are dressed appropriate. If not have the backup outfit in the ready. It would only take a minute to change.

p.s this reminds me of an episode of flavor of love where this girl crazy got dressed up as if shes going to prom or something and flav took her 2 KFC!!! lol hilarious!!!!!!!!!
