yes, we do it in work every year, but you can only pay 1 pound or less, and you have to try and fin the tackiest present to wrap up. Everyone pick out a pressie and opens at same time(about 60 of us). previous "tacky present" winners have included, a light up Jesus, father xmas gnomes and a hat saying santas little helper, Thank god for poundland and wilkos.

yeah we used to play it in school. our teacher would organise it so every kid in the class picked someone's else's name and send them notes dropping hints on who they were. Luckily I was always secret santa to nice people and never someone I didnt like. my friend picked out the name of someone she really hated and insisted on swopping :D
