How many calories are needed to vaporize 1200 grams of water at the boiling point? How many joules?

I got 648,000 cals. but how do you change it to joules? The answer is 2711232 joules, but i dont know how you get that answer.

1 calorie = 4.184 joules. That lets you convert calories to joules or joules to calories. You do have the right answer.
